Adequate support is essential to minimizing fatigue and keeping your gear where it's supposed to be. Flimsy dress belts are simply inadequate to the task and most gun belts, even though they start out strong, lose their stiffness somewhere along the way. Minotaur's belts are designed to far outlast anything you might have hanging in your closet.
Kydex Reinforcement: In order give the proper, long-lived support for your gear, Minotaur uses a thin strip of kydex sandwiched between the inner and outer pieces of leather. Stitching the kydex to the inner piece of leather insures that it stays put and gives the belt the intended support.
Contoured and Tapered: Take your belt and lay it on a flat surface. If it's even a few months old you'll see that it's become curved to better fit your body shape. Minotaur belts are designed, cut and assembled already curved for greater comfort. Because of its increased stiffness, this contour is necessary for a proper fit.
1.5" in width and tapered at the ends for enhanced comfort and a dressier appearance, Minotaur belts are available in black and brown.

To ensure an accurate belt measurement, lay a belt that fits you flat on a table. Measure the distance, in inches, from the very tip of the buckle to the hole that you commonly use. Subtract two from that number, and that will be the size of the belt you need (belts are marked two inches shorter than their actual distance). Minotaur belts are only available in even numbers, and it's best to round up. If you will be carrying a weapon inside the waistband, please take that into account when measuring.
ATTENTION: COLORING
Leather is a natural product with unique characteristics that differ from hide to hide. Due to these differences, shade and color variations are to be expected with each belt. A brown belt you order now may not be the exact same shade of brown as a belt you may order a few months from now. This is not a fault or flaw in our leather, only a guarantee that we use genuine natural top-grain leather to make all of Minotaur's Kydex Reinforced Contour Leather Belts.
