Comp-Tac MAP Policy

USA Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) Policy

A Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) program is in effect on all products sold under either of the BP Tactical brands (BlackPoint Tactical and 
Crucial Concealment) and/or Comp-Tac Holster brand, to be known, collectively, as the “Holster Brands”. This policy is in effect for all customers, 
foreign and domestic. 


BP Tactical and Comp-Tac have been building brands with a high level of brand awareness and perceived value for many years. Retailers not 
adhering to the established Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) program are detrimental to the Holster Brands by diminishing or detracting from 
the perceived value of the Holster Brands and/or diminishing profitability for all resellers. Our MAP pricing policy is intended to level the playing 
field allowing consumers to purchase from resellers based on loyalty and customer care expectations. Therefore, if selected as a Holster Brands 
reseller, you will need to agree and abide by the following requirements and restrictions.


The MAP policy shall work under the following guidelines: 
          1) The Minimum Advertised Price for any product of the Company’s Brands shall be in compliance with the MAP price shown on the 
respective Current Brand Price List. This list is available to Dealers at any time by (1) making a request to any of the Holster Brands
directly or (2) requesting updated price list from their local sales representative. While the company will use commercially reasonable 
efforts to distribute new price lists, if changes occur, it is the Dealer’s responsibility to ensure they are in compliance with current 
pricing. 


          2) The MAP policy applies to all advertisements of product made by Company Brands in any and all media, including, but not limited to, 
flyers, posters, coupons, mailers, inserts, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, mail order catalogs, Internet or similar electronic media,
email blasts, television, radio, and public signage. Additionally, any attempts to conceal a discounted price which is below MAP is 
prohibited. Some examples of this practice include “add to cart for discounted price” or pricing which violates MAP listed on a password 
protected site. 


          3) The MAP policy is not applicable to: 1) Any physical in-store advertising or 2) Any special pricing or quotations offered to agencies or 
other bulk purchases provided that this pricing is not advertised in public
          4) If pricing is displayed in a brick and mortar retail store, any advertised price of the dealers’ choosing is acceptable. If pricing is displayed 
in any other locations separate from the B&M store, strike-through or other alteration of the Minimum Advertised Price is prohibited.


          5) MAP does not establish maximum advertised prices. All dealers and sales representatives may offer Holster Brands at any price in excess 
of the MAP. 


          6) Dealer agrees to hold all trademarks and copyrights of the Companies Brands as the property of the Holster Brands and use advertising 
materials provided by the Company in an authorized manner. 


          7) If a dealer exhibits intentional or repeated failures to abide by this policy then the Holster Brands reserve the right to take any or all of 
the following actions; (i) issue a written warning, (ii) reduce or remove discounts and/or lose any extended payment terms, (iii) withdraw 
or suspend Dealer from participating in cooperative marketing benefits, (iv) withhold shipments for a specified time, and/or (v) 
terminate Dealer’s partnership with respective Holster Brands. At the termination of a dealer relationship, the Holster Brands reserve the right to buy back any inventory at the purchase price of those items. Please note that the numeric sequence is not to be construed as a required progression of actions, and the Holster Brands recourse is not limited to the above. 


          8) No dealers are permitted to sell the Holster Brands on Third Party sites without prior approval. For those partners who are permitted to 
sell on Third Party sites, the following guidelines must be observed.
• “Buy it Now” options must be listed at a price equal to MAP or greater.
• For auctions the reserve and/or opening bids must start at MAP without a “Buy it Now” option.
• Best Offer Auctions Are Not Allowed


          9) MAP Holiday: At the discretion of BP Tactical, certain times may be declared a MAP holiday during which products of the Company 
Brands may be advertised and sold at pricing below MAP. The discount amount and length of time will be determined and announced by 
BP Tactical to dealers prior to any promotions starting. 


          10) Sales representatives of the Holster Brands will supply a copy of the MAP policy to any new or existing reseller for their reference

 

This policy may be modified by Comp-Tac from time-to-time, at Comp-Tac’s discretion.
