The CTAC was the first ever holster Comp-Tac made 22 years ago. We decided after so many years, it needed a makeover and our customers deserved to benefit from all the things we've learned in our time making holsters. We would like the introduce the result of our time and experience:
the CTAC V2!!
The CTAC is an inside the waistband all-Kydex holster for concealed carry. Designed to be worn behind the hip at the 4:00-5:00 range, this holster is perfect for concealed carry in warm weather or humid climates. We produce products for the most popular make and model pistols, S&W, Glock, Springfield, H&K, Sig Sauer and many more. Please select your pistol from the Make and Model drop down.
Features of the CTAC
- An all-Kydex body provides a rigid material that is custom fit to each firearm exactly and retains its shape even with the pistol un-holstered, while the smooth, low friction surface allows for fast draw and easy one-handed re-holstering.
- All-Kydex body will not bend or stretch over time and is impervious to sweat and solvents making the CTAC perfect for hot or humid climates.
- Distributes the weight of a concealed gun with the help of two clips mounted with leather tabs to either side of the holster and providing a firm to the belt
- Can be completely tucked into a shirt allowing for better concealment
- Ride Height and cant adjustable
The “Slide” Holster
The Slide holster option allows the user to use one holster for similar guns of different lengths (such as Glock 9mm, .40, and .357). The Slide is typically slightly longer than the shortest gun of the series, and left open so that longer guns may ‘slide’ through the end of the holster.
Slide versions of outside the waistband holsters are recommended for range work only. While carrying a longer firearm in a slide holster, the end is left exposed and the user must be careful not to bump the exposed muzzle up against anything that might dislodge the firearm, i.e. sitting down in an arm chair.
Comp-Tac fit checks EVERY holster with the actual make and model firearm ordered. As a result, the leather backing may show slight wear marks or scratches from the fit process.
The CTAC attaches to the belt by two clips mounted to the leather tabs on either side of the holster. These mounting clips distribute the weight of the loaded pistol while holding securely to the belt. A shirt may be tucked in over the gun and holster providing complete concealment. The clips will also allow for ride depth or cant adjustment by using the different mounting holes.
The CTAC is purchased with the Standard Clip attached.
Additional Clips and Styles Can Be Purchased on Our Holster Parts and Hardware Page:
Standard Clips: A “P” shaped clip that slides over the top of the belt and hooks underneath. Holster may be put on while belt is already threaded through loops. Not recommended for nylon belts.
C-Clip: A “C” shaped clip that grips the belt at the top and bottom. The belt must be fed through clips while putting it on. These clips have less visible surface area showing during concealment. C-clips work with all types of belts, ideal for nylon.
V-Clip: Clips slide over the waistband of pants and attach to hook on inside of belt. Holster attaches before belt is put on through pant loops. V-clips offer the highest level of concealment with no part of the clip visible outside of the pants. The loop is provided with these clips. The easiest way to attach this clip is to a belt with the loop already sewn on. Please see Comp-Tac Kydex Reinforced Loop Belt for this option.
Thread On Clip: The Thread On Clip is a completely solid clip that the belt must be slide through when putting on. The Thread On clips are recommended for belts that are less than 1/4" thick.
Comp-Tac® products are constructed to fit standard factory equipped guns only. Additions such as trigger shoes, extended slide releases, laser sights or any alteration to the frame or external dimensions of the gun itself may render the holster unsafe and increase the risk of an accidental discharge. At no time should a handgun other than the make and models of gun for which the holster is made be used in a Comp-Tac® holster. It is the user’s sole responsibility throughout the serviceable life of the holster to personally check for proper fit and retention with an unloaded handgun. If any Comp-Tac® product becomes worn, loose or ill-fitting with age, you should cease use immediately. Because HSGI® and Comp-Tac® have no control over how their holsters and/or accessories will be used, or who they will be used by after their purchase, we disclaim any and all liability for incidental or consequential damages to person(s) and/or property resulting from the use of any HSGI® or Comp-Tac® product, including wear on firearm finish.
